Broker's Comments
Hartley and Brookes (Hartley Boats) have been designing and selling boat plans since 1938. They believe there are more Hartley designs cruising the oceans than any other - and ferro boats are their speciality
And then this particular Hartley RORC 39 is even more special. She was professionally built using top quality materials and tradesmen, had a major professional refit in 2002 (to adapt her as an ocean cruising liveaboard) and since then she has been lightly used, yet meticulously maintained, by her original (engineer) owner.
She absolutely oozes quality, from initial build then a lifetime of care no expense has been spared and it shows.
She's currently ashore under guardianage in a good yard in Lagos having had a hull blast, paint and coppercoat to keep her looking her best. This is a truly beautiful boat and will no doubt outlast all of us!
